KANSAS DOESN'T NEED ANYMORE SNOW FYI

And it's supposed to snow more tomorrow, and it's totally in the negative degrees right now *shakes fist*

But as an update, school starts next week, the 14th of January. I'm kind've anxious to start, but at the same time I don't, because it's y'know...school xD My classes are:

-Advanced Drawing
-Ceramics 2
-Renaissance Art History
-Family Relationships and Gender Roles

I psychology I probably would have majored in it had it not been for art

BUT, that's another point. I got a B last semester in Drawing 3, and that is NOT GOOD in my book. It's the first B I've ever had in an art class (besides art history), and I had a good talk with my teacher before finals. He said he could really tell I lack confindence in my art, and it's starting to show the higher my art classes are. So I want to redeem myself this semester and try to get better.

He asked me if getting an A in the class was really important to me, and of course, I said yes. I always try to get the best grades I can, so if a teacher tells me I need to change a book report or alter a painting, weither or not I agree I do it. He said I should stop going for the grade and trying to please him, and go with my direction of art no matter the consequences. And while that is all fine and dandy, my GPA DOES matter to me, for loans, scholarships and my parents. So I guess I need to balance both the grades and what I want a little better...

My office job started back up again today. They took off last week (mostly because no one wanted to come in xD) so I worked extra at VS. It almost feels like I haven't gotten a break...but I just have the office this week, and I work at VS twice. Not too bad I think! Hopefully next week is the same-

I did see Sherlock Holmes Saturday! Very nice Jay said it was better than what he anticipated, but worse than he thought it could have been, if that makes sense

I've been SO STUCK on Sesshoumaru/Kagome fanfiction lately! I found a lovely one, which is probably one of my two top favorite SessKag's ever, called 'Remnants of a Spider' by Mistress Sianna [link] - I LOVE IT. I sent her a review saying how much I LOVED her fic, and I'm anxiously awaiting the next chapter THEY'RE SO CUTE TOGETHER!!

My other altime fav (it's hard to decide which is my favorite now!) is 'The Once and Future Taiyoukai' by RosieB [link] Both are amazing

ANYWAY - I totally need to scan all my music notes, that's where all my SessKag scribbles are. It's sad that's the only class I drew in...

OH! I still need to post my drawing stuff too!! Maybe tonight after work...

I've noticed at work I have this really, REALLy bad habbit of talking to myself. Like, badly. At VS, processors usually work by themselves, and since you can't hear the music of the store in the back, I usually just talk to myself to break up the silence. Because I don't like silence, it bothers me. Plus, if I say it out loud I'm more likely to remember it.

Well, there's been more than a few times someoen has walked in to me talking or ranting to no one they can see. My managers think it's, adorable I think was the word they used? They also found out I started dating Jay before he graduated high school, so I am now dubbed 'cougar'.

I think I really am insane though. At least I embrace it

Nicole had her last final yesterday I'm just waiting for the results!! *crosses fingers* I worked so hard for my grades, and at mid-terms I had 3 A's and 1 B, but right now I'm at 2 A's and 2 B's T____T My class yesterday was at a 90%, so I COULD NOT get any lower than a A on the final...I'll have to wait and see how I did

BUT

I can draw freely now

Tonight I'm going to take pictures of all my Drawing 3 assignments and post them, so be prepared for mass submissions! And I'm chuggin away on the commissions I've got (no really, I am xD It's what I did instead of studying!) so be ready for those too!

AND I'M GOING TO START PLAYING W.O.W. AND SIMS 3 AGAIN TONIGHT TOO! WHOOOOOOYEAAAAH!

I just need to find my mouse >___>;;

Also, I'm going to *TRY* to do a -complete- page this week. My 'early' New Years resolution is to do at least one page a week....let's see how long that lasts

But I'm loving doing commissions, so much fun The one I'm working on for is turning out GREAT!

And Jay bought me an Assassin's Creed 2 shirt yesterday *ish wearing it* I've gotten him several presents for Christmas, but I'm not letting him have one yet, and it's driving him nuts xD I'm so mean

My dream this morning was weird...kinda like The Great Mouse Detective if anyone's seen it. Mice being attacked by rats, I was trying to save to kid-mice and 2 adults O---O; My dreams have been so weird lately...

AND SORRY FOR ALL THE JOURNAL POSTINGS. My office gets really slow during winter break, even though we're one of the few that stays open. So I just sit here and surf dA xD At least that means I'm catching up on my messages~

Everyone know the Wacom Dreams Contest I entered? Well, they're judging now and supposted to be posting the top 25 aaah...I think tomorrow actually. Jay seems to think I win, without a doubt I KNOW I won't win, or make it in to the first round, but it was nice to draw for it because I was inspired by the theme and the chance to draw Jay with wings . They have a community pick, I think it goes by faves? The entry that receives the most favorites between December 16 thru the 21 gets it. I'm interested to see who wins! My vote is going to ! Make sure to vote for your favorite too guys!

But just the fact so many have commented on it and told me what they think or like about it makes me so happy! I got a lot of 'hope your dream comes true!'s, and that makes me giddy Thank you guys!

I don't think anyone in the office likes poptarts xD I eat one everyday for breakfast, and everytime they say they can't believe I eat those things



And what happened to the old-style Campbells chicken noodle soup? All I can find is the 'homestyle' chicken stuff, and it's not NEAR as good T___T

And I miss BEEF SOUP. All they have is vegitable and beef and it's not good at all, it smells weird and tastes funny T______T

Sorry again (especially commissioners* for me being absent, I'm scrabling to finish my 9 hour drawing project and write a 5 page paper for Fable and Fantasy by tomorrow. Then this weekend I'm going to study like crazy for my Medieval and Renaissance Humanities final

I'm supposed to have someone coming to look at my old camera this weekend too! I reaaaally hope she buys it *crosses fingers*

And it's snowed SO MUCH HERE AAAHH, I think we practically had a snow storm yesterday xD; Today it's just bitter and cold and windy DX

Jay came and woke me up this morning, he said he hadn't slept all night...again. He hasn't been able to go to bed until about 8AM for the past few days, I'm really starting to worry...maybe it's stress over finals?

I'm supposed to call him in a few hours too to make sure he goes to his last class, I can't forget!
